Jack Fitzgerald 3 and 6 mile walks, Crawley 14 June

Dave Hoben, who has supported the Oxfordshire Championship 3000m races in the past, invites us to these races next month.

“VAC are organising the second edition of this event. The aim will still be to attract new recruits to race walking, and the event will be open to juniors, non-vets and vets alike.
The event will also be raising funds for Help for Heroes through the entry fee.

The venue will be Tilgate Park, Crawley, near the end of M23, around a lake that was once the test bed for the Bluebird speed record, and it will be over 3 or 6 miles, time 1 pm, date Saturday 14 June 2014.
Entry forms are now in circulation (attached), more details from either myself at an upcoming event, or walks@vetsac.org.uk<mailto:walks@vetsac.org.uk>
The course is highly scenic, and the grounds of Tilgate Park are vast, eminently suitable for those with young families. There is a pub and a café within the grounds.”
