Training during the week : on Monday, 8k or so as a long warm-down after the Vets League races. On Wednesday, 10k-ish fartlek, plus beginners sessions on the track if required.
Training at the weekend : if not racing, should do a distance session. Any suggestions ?
Racing at the weekend : On Sunday at 12:30 in Coventry, a 20k race, which functions as both the Midlands Championships and the BMAF Championships.
Racing during the week : On Monday, 2000m races in the Southern Veterans AC T&F League, Western Division, at Tilsley Park, with the women’s race at 6:30 and the men’s at 6:50. Be there in good time for a good warmup ! And on Tuesday at 8:30 pm, a 3000m race at Ashton Playing Fields, East London, in the Woodford Tuesday Walks series.
